Epcot- Test Track Car

Waiting in line for test track

After the long wait..... Tinkerbell

The Haunted Mansion

Abbey and Jasmine

We spent our final day in Orlando at the Magic Kingdom and before we went home we went a few rides at Epcot. Abbey got her dose of Aladdin carpet ride, Pirates of the Caribbean and when we got off the Aladdin ride Jasmine had appeared so Abbey got to meet her. We were able to ride Splash Mountain, Train Roller Coaster, Haunted Mansion & Small World. After lunch Jeff headed back to Epcot and Abbey and I stayed at Magic Kingdom. We rode, the teacups, winnie the pooh, dumbo and then ventured over to Toon Town to see Tinkerbell and her fairies, we had to wait 30 mins, but Abbey wanted to wait. We met back up with Jeff at Epcot and went on our favorite rides again and then headed for home. We had an awesome time in Orlando and we appreciate Kathie and Jamal for the hotel and food and we also appreciate Troy "32" for getting us into Disney!!! We can't wait to go back.

Lady and the Tramp

Learning to eat Spaghetti

Wiping her mouth after each bite

Notice that some of her paint came off after she wiped so much

After we dropped Jeff off to go to trivia in downtown Orlando, Abbey and I headed to BJ's for dinner (I wish we had BJ's in Utah). Abbey wanted the kids Spaghetti & Meatballs and I got the buffalo chicken pizza. This place is my new favorite restaurant in Orlando. The waitress brought us our food and put a big napkin around Abbey's neck and while she was eating this was our conversation:

Abb- "Mom, since my face is painted like a dog and I'm eating spaghetti I feel like Lady and the tramp"

Me- "Really, if your lady where is the tramp?"

Abb- "mom, since my face is painted I'm lady and your face is not painted but you can be tramp"

She then proceeded to sing "This is the night, what a beautiful night,"

Which then got the people behind us cracking up and they even clapped when she finished singing. She politely thanked them and hid her head under the table

Seuss Landing

She was so excited for Seuss Land

On Wednesday we spent the day day at Universal Studios. We initially planned on only going to one park, but the ticket salesman told us we could get through the entire park in 3 hours so we bought the hopper pass for both sides. She was right, we got through Islands of Adventure by 1pm (that included several rides in Seuss land, hulk roller coaster, Spiderman). I think Abbey rode on the Cat in the Hat 6 times and she she laughed at the same things every time. While we were in Seuss Land I let Abbey get her face painted like a Dalmatian and every once in awhile she'd bark and then she would belly laugh. We ate lunch and then headed to the Hollywood side were we went on Shrek 4-D, Jimmy Neutron, ET, Woody Woodpecker roller coater, Jaws, the new Simpson's 3-D, etc. The lines were so short that we rode some rides multiple times. We also got to see quite a few characters, Spongebob, Shrek, donkey & Fiona, Curios George & the Yellow hat guy, Scooby Doo, male/female woodpeckers. I did see Barney out of the corner of my eye but steered Abbey the other direction, does that make me a bad mom? We stayed until the park closed at 7 and then headed to drop Jeff off to go to trivia. We had a super fun day

The Gatorland Train

On Tuesday we headed to Gatorland for the day. This place is not far from Kathie's house so we stayed until it closed. We got to attend all 3 live shows; exotic animals, gator wrestling & feeding the gators. Abbey also got to run out her energy playing in the water toys at the gator park. After the gator wrestling show Abbey and I got the chance to sit on a live gator and hold the mouth. It actually creeped me out because the gator started to move while we were sitting on it. We rode the train around the park a couple times and we also go to walk around and feed the gators hot dogs. It was pretty cool to watch them eat and actually get the food before the white birds swooped down and snatched them up.
Kathie had class that night so after a little TV and nap for Abbey, we headed for the Wing House for dinner. This place has the best wings ever!!!

Hollywood Studios

Abbey was too busy to eat lunch....

She only wanted to see the Lion- No interest in JoJo

Toy Story Mania

On Monday we spent a good part of the day at Hollywood studios. We wanted to fast pass the new Toy Story ride, but when we got there at 1000 the fast pass booths were shut down because all the tickets had been given out for the day so we bit the bullet and stood in line for 45 mins. I have been to this park on 5 different occasions and it is always busy. The ride was okay, but I don't think I'd wait 45 mins again for it, but Abbey did love it!!! She surprised both Jeff and I when she announced she wanted to go on Tower of Terror again so we agreed and she liked it the 2nd time (she was mentally prepared, but still dug into my skin as she held on). We took her on Star Tours, Saw Disney Live, met a bunch of Disney characters and then we headed back to Magic Kingdom until it closed. At the Magic Kingdom we stayed so Abbey could watch the parade and she thought it was so COOL!! She really liked the villain float, Cruella, Snow White witch, etc. It was a great day and the weather was beautiful..... It was so fun to see Abbey get so excited over everything she saw. She was definitely in heaven all week...

Kathie & Jamal

On Sunday (March 1), we slept in and around noon we headed for Cocoa Beach. A small storm came through early Sunday morning so it was a little windy at the beach. Kathie & Jamal took us to a hot spot for lunch- Coconuts, which sits right on the beach and we enjoyed fresh seafood! We then headed for the beach so Abbey could collect some shells and play in the sand. She absolutely loves playing at the beach and did not want to leave. Before we left to go back to Orlando we stopped off at the all favorite- Ron Jon's Surf Shop. We got a few items and headed back to Kathie & Jamal's for dinner. We also want to thank Kathie & Jamal for letting us crash at their home and always showing us a great time and a special thanks to Troy for hooking us up with Disney tickets.

So excited to ride the Test Track

Our first day in Orlando we spent at Epcot. The weather was great and the park was not busy at all. The only ride we had to Fast Pass was Soaring. Abbey is now 42 inches so we were able to take her on all the rides except for the big roller coasters. She really liked Test Track, Soaring, Nemo and seeing the characters in Epcot. We ate lunch there and later in the afternoon we headed for Hollywood Studios. We took Abbey on Tower of Terror (it scared her to the point that she had a small accident) and she later told us that she did not like the up and down ride and did not want to ride on it until she was bigger. We were able to see the on stage Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. On our ride home Abbey was asleep before we even left Disney property.
