On Sept 19, we spent the evening at the Red Barn in Draper for Brynlee's 3rd Birthday. Abbey and Brynlee are friends, they met at Little Gym and love playing with each other. We had a great time jumping, eating pizza and cupcakes, & watching her open her gifts. Happy Birthday Brynlee.

Jeff, Abbey & I met Corrie, Jeremy & Drew at the fair. We spent the entire day and had a great time!! Abbey sure does love the "carny" rides, go figure. We got to see all the animals and we also ate some fattening lunch. I swear everything is "deep fried" at that place. After the fair we met up and had dinner at Chili's. Thanks guys for a great day!!

On Saturday September 6th, we had a friend party for Abbey at Classic Skating in Sandy. We were able to jump on the giant blow up toys and play in the Junge Gym for 2 hours. We brought the cake and Abbey thought it was like the best thing ever invented!! We also ate in the spongbob room (which included music & bubbles). Abbey and all her friends had a great time...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PATRICK & JULIE!!

Today is my brother Patrick's birthday and I believe today he is "officially in his 30's- meaning 31!!). I hope you have a great day and get to eat lots of cake!! Expect a call this evening from Abbey as she will be ready and willing to sing happy birthday to both you and Julie.


And Happy Birthday to Julie (whom I believe hits the big milestone of 30!!). We can't wait for the babies to get here and we hope you have a fantastic birthday....

This cake deserves it's own posting. This cake is DIVINE and it turned out so cute!! Kathy is the best cake maker I know and I make sure she is able to make Abbey's birthday cake at least 3 months before her birthday!! Abbey was head over heels with this cake, I'm not even sure she wanted us to cut it. Thanks, Kathy.

On Tuesday September 2nd, we had a Dora birthday for Abbey at our house, complete with all the decorations, ballons & Dora cake & Pinata. The cake was made by my dispatch friend Kathy, which all the family refers to it as "Kathy Cake", and believe me once you have had "Kathy Cake" you will never eat anything else again!! We had both sides of the family over as well as a couple neighbors. The kids did some swimming in the pool and they also played on our new playset out back. McKinely won the honors of breaking the pinata this year!! Abbey got lots of nice gifts and I'm sure she will put them to good use!! Thanks again everyone!!

My cute friend Aubrey from work took Abbey's birthday pictures this year. She does amazing work and I love her pictures, no more Kiddie Kandids for me!! Thanks Aubs, Abbey loved being winded by your equipment and we LOVED the pictures!

OFFICIALLY Potty Trained

After a long six months (including a bad UTI infection) our Abbey is officially potty trained. We are so proud of her and since we no longer have to buy diapers, we took her to the Red Balloon toy store yesterday and let her pick out a new toy. She picked out a pretty cool Dr's Kit and she also wanted a Dora/Diego Halloween book. Good Job Abbey!!!!!!!

Our Anniversary

This past Wednesday (Ocotber 1st) was Jeff and I's anniversary. Jeff surprised me with 4 dozen roses when I got home from work. Instead of going out that night we went out on Thursday and Jeff's mom watched Abbey for a few hours. We went and saw Eagle Eye and then went to dinner at Outback.
