June 2007

The past few weeks I have had Saturdays off (which I've been working weekends since I went back to work after having Abbey). So since Jeff and I have had a day off together we have tried to do some fun things on Saturday during the month of June. The 1st weekend Jeff and I went to San Diego and Abbey stayed a couple days with both sets of grandparents. The 2nd weekend in June was spent at my uncle's funeral (he died of cancer). My cousin (Alan Stevenson) was also killed that week in a plane crash in southern Utah so I went the funeral with my dad. Two weekends ago we went to Park City for the day and we shopped, ate lunch and went up to the Alpine Slide. Last weekend we went to Hogle Zoo for the day and this next weekend I will tell you about next week. On my days off I have been finishing painting in our room downstairs (Jeff put in a pocket door to the bathroom so we had to tear out a wall). Abbey and I also ventured to IKEA with Corrie and Abbey got a new train which she LOVES!! We have also been swimming alot at the outdoor pool in Lehi and we also went with Aunt Kelly and the cousins (McKinley, Connor & Sierra) to Seven Peaks. I am now going to attempt to attach pictures from our camera regarding our above outings. Hope you all have a great and HOT weekend!!!

My 1st Posting

Thanks to my friend at work (Aubrey) I have started a blog. I think she wants to find out some DIRT' on me. You think I would be a little more computer savvy and done this a long time ago, but since the arrival of Abbey it is all about her!!! She now runs the Eliason household and she calls all the shots!! She is even in charge of the tv at night (so we get to either watch Barney's Birthday, Curious George or Winnie the Pooh). This past weekend Jeff and I took Abbey to the Hogle Zoo. She loved the monkeys and the elephants. I would post some pictures from our outing, but Jeff forgot our camera. It was Corrie & Spencer's birthday this past weekend and Abbey called them both and sang "Happy Birthday" to them. I think she was more interested in knowing if either of them had a birthday cake!! She is so much like her Grandma Eliason!!

And THANKS to Aubrey for setting up my blog page and making it look good. I will post some pictures this week!!
